Did my Meet-the-People session last night. We had 116 cases, about the usual number. Half were from my own ward Teck Ghee, the rest from other parts of AMK GRC. Finished past midnight, also as usual.
I always find it useful to listen to my residents’ problems. We can’t always simply grant their appeals, as making an exception for one may not be fair to others. But we always do our best to help wherever we can.
Very grateful to my branch volunteers, who faithfully serve our residents week after week, sometimes for 20 or 30 years. Thanks also to my fellow MPs who share my case load – tonight Seng Han Thong took cases with me. - LHL
